Future Plans

A short list of plans for the site in the future.

A "main menu" for each game

Instead of just going into each game and being immediately greeted with the character select, instead you can look at more baseline information about the game, such as availability, price, general gameplay feel, singleplayer options, and other info of that kind. From there you can travel to the character select menu as you like.

Update to description displays

Currently, information about a character is put on what would normally be the player 2 portion of the character select screen. sometimes that works and there's enough space to contain said information, and sometimes there is not. The plan is to implement a pop-up menu that appears when selecting a character, instead of just trying to wrench the information into a place where it wouldn't fit.

Update to description information

Character information is mostly a placeholder, whether it be the actual format and information to be filled out, or the few characters that actually have things written about them. The information is intended to be stuff that's introductary and easily digestible to beginners, so it should ideally be things that can help sell you on a character, like how easy they are, how they play, etc. There are plans to offer less gameplay focused information, such as character colors and lore, but those are not the current priority.

Special move lists for characters

It's not just basic information about characters that can grab players, but the moves at their disposal, so listing those would be a good idea. Having visuals of all of them for every game might be a bit much for the workload, so that's a prospect that can be left by the wayside for now.

Mobile layouts

Not the best idea to have a site that's PC only. While fitting the different layouts on a screen they were not built for is not exactly easy, it's important to make it accessible and easy to navigate for everyone.

Audio fixes

Currently the audio balance between games is all out of wack. Since that's a bit of a laborious process, that'll probably be handled more later.
